Author Nancy Tillman Brings Her Stories to Life for DEMDACO

The books of Nancy Tillman have helped parents express their great love for their children for more than 10 years. Her first children’s book was published in 2005; On the Night You Were Born depicts a magical world where “On the night you were born, you brought wonder and magic to the world. The moon stayed up till morning. Polar bears danced.” The message of this and all of Nancy’s works is that you are loved, unconditionally, and with no restrictions. This message is one Nancy is passionate about. When asked what the central theme of her books is, she said in an interview with Mom TV, “You are loved, no matter what. That’s the most important message we can give to our kids, I can’t think of anything more important than a child knowing they are unconditionally loved…you have a few years when children are young when they really don’t have any barriers up, whatever you tell them, they absorb into their heart…the good messages we give them stay with them for a lifetime.
